Each semester I hope to offer a free coding camp for those interested in learning the basics of creative coding.

I hosted a teacher camp in Fall 2024, Spring 2025, Fall 2025.

I will be offering a 5-week camp in Spring 2026 (April and May). More details below. The application is available here.

The camp will begin with the basics of creative coding in p5.js, then expand into topics based on participant interests. Possible directions include remixing projects from The Coding Train, exploring machine learning with ml5.js, working with ideas from The Nature of Code, and creating original interactive sketches, digital art, animations, and small creative tools.

The camp is designed to be beginner-friendly and welcoming to educators, artists, students, and other curious learners. Sessions will include guided instruction, creative experimentation, access to curriculum and examples, and opportunities to share work with a community of learners.
